Arla-Dano Farm Knowledge Sharing Day

On 25th June 2025, the Arla-Dano Farm opened its gates for our very first Knowledge Sharing Day - a vibrant event dedicated to exchanging ideas and best practices in sustainable dairy farming. Guests, including local farmers, students, and partners, experienced hands-on demonstrations of innovative farming techniques, responsible animal care, and environmental stewardship.

Nutrition at the Nigerian Dairy Centre of Excellence

Nutrition is at the heart of the Nigerian Dairy Centre of Excellence (NDCE). The Centre plays a critical role in linking nutritious dairy to real impact by strengthening the foundations of local dairy production. Through hands-on training and knowledge sharing, we promote best practices in animal health, feed management, milk quality, and safe handling - key factors that determine the nutritional value and safety of milk and dairy products consumed by Nigerian households.

By building skills and local capacity across the dairy value chain, the NDCE helps ensure that milk produced locally meets high quality standards from farm to table. This work supports Arla’s broader commitment to improving nutrition outcomes and food security in Nigeria, while empowering farmers, students, and industry stakeholders with practical expertise.
