We strive to develop our business in a sustainable and responsible way, operating with responsible sourcing practices that positively impact lives and protect our planet.
A significant part of our commitment to protect our planet involves halting climate change indirectly caused by land conversion due to agricultural expansion. We prioritize taking careful action and fostering collaboration along the value chain. Arla is dedicated to ensuring that all direct and indirect use of primary risk commodities, such as palm oil, soy, and fiber, is free from deforestation and land conversion. This commitment also extends to soy and palm embedded in animal feed used on farms. We report on our progress annually in our financial and sustainability reports.
It is essential for Arla to operate in a responsible manner, and we expect our suppliers and business partners to live up to the same standards concerning environmental, social, and human rights aspects. To this end, we encourage all our partners in the value chain to adopt the principles outlined in our Code of Conduct for suppliers and Business Partners.
